PCEHR Wave 2 Projects

St Vincents & Mater Health Sydney
The project aimed to improve clinical communication through the delivery of key PCEHR components including GP health summaries, GP referrals and interoperability between two major Australian shared electronic health record solutions, Smart Health Solutions and Precedence Healthcare. There was a focus on medication management, engagement of private specialists and the technical integration of conformant repositories. The project was also marketed as the “Eastern Sydney Connect Project”.
