Australian Medicines Terminology Browser update
Healthbase Australia has updated the free online Australian Medicines Terminology browser to include version 2.54 of the AMT released by NEHTA today. All deprecated versions will also be available again for browsing/searching in the next few days.
Unfortunately, the Healthbase AMT server had a major hardware failure and has been replaced by a Mac Mini running Mountain Lion. This has caused considerable grief, because of the lack of basic backend software that had been provided natively under Healthbase’s previous OpenSuSE linux environment, or was more easily installed and configured under that environment. These difficulties, have resulted in some outages of Healthbase services over the past few days and Healthbase regrets any inconvenience should you have been affected.
